Occasionally I think about buying a torch that can use MAPP gas, but I don't understand the advantage. It's supposed to be hotter than propane, but according to BernzOmatic the flame temperatures for propane and MAPP are 3,450ºF & 3,600ºF respectively. That's only a 4% difference, and it costs a lot more.
